COUNTRY CRUIZERS DONATE SCHOLARSHIPS
Hannibal Dollars for Scholars is the recipient of a $4,500 donation from the Country Cruizers Car Club. This donation will fund three $500 scholarships this year, and an additional two per year for the next three years.
The Country Cruizers Car Club is a social club whose members own and love classic cars. The club members also enjoy supporting the community. They work many hours parking cars at the Hannibal Field Days each summer and use their share of the dollars raised to sponsor scholarships through Hannibal Dollars for Scholars and donate to local food pantries. This year an anonymous individual who was familiar with and impressed by the Cruizers history of donations gave the Club a check and asked that the club distribute the funds to charities, at the club's discretion. This enabled to club to make a larger donation this year for future scholarships.
